Our Policy

  • Lodging and Sales Taxes are Included in Our Room Rates
  • We accept cash and personal checks but no credit cards (with exception of Paypal online room deposit).
  • All rates based upon one or two person occupancy. Additional persons: please add $50.00 per person.
  • The Net Loft and Brice Rooms are friendly to small pets, with advance notice. A $25.00 pet fee applies.
  • There are three rooms upstairs. The Hepbron Room has a private bath. Jacob and Merrickton Rooms share the hallway bath.

Deposit Policy
The Black Duck Inn accepts cash or check for final room payments. We do accept Paypal for online room deposit. We do not accept credit cards at the inn.

A $75.00 deposit per room is required.

Cancellation Policy
Things happen and sometimes our plans just need to be changed, therefore cancellations received earlier than 5 full days of the reservation date will be fully refunded less processing fees.

All cancellations within five days of your arrival date are subject to a $25 fee.  If the room should become rebooked, the deposit will be fully refunded less the processing fees.

Pet Policy
We have two pet friendly rooms that are available for folks traveling with well behaved, quiet pooches.   We adore  animals and understand some pets are a little more talkative than is desirable when heard by other guests, therefore your cooperation and good judgment is expected and appreciated when booking at the Black Duck Inn.  In other words, if you have a screechy, yappy, barking, nervous, high strung pooch,  please don’t consider us as your lodging option.   Well behaved pooches with considerate parents are welcome.

There is a $25.00 fee for pets.

Boat Slip Policy
Please advise us when making your reservation if you intend to arrive by boat so we are sure to have a slip for your boat. Also, our insurance does not permit any overnight guests staying on boats at our docks. Our boat slips are available for our overnight inn guests  and our Dockside Cafe patrons only.
